What Is The Working Principle Of PET Bottle Mold
The principle of bottle mold mainly involves several key steps, including preheating, blowing, molding, cooling and demolding. This process is the key of PET bottle production, and its purpose is to shape the PET material into the desired bottle shape by precisely controlling temperature and pressure.
- Preheating: First, the PET preform is heated to the softening point to make it plasticization. This step is necessary because PET is easier to shape in a softened state.
- Blow molding: The heated PET material is put into the bottle mold. This process uses the principle of air pressure to blow air into the heated bottle embryo to expand and fit the inner wall of the mold.
- Molding: During the blow molding process, the shape of the mold determines the shape and size of the final plastic bottle. In this step, the PET material cools and solidifies in the mold to form the basic shape of the bottle.
- Cooling: Next, the plastic bottle is cooled and shaped through a cooling process. This step ensures that the bottle has sufficient strength and stability.
- Demolding: Finally, the cooled plastic bottle is removed from the mold, completing the entire production process.
